EFK and pulley deletion belt size (w/ under drive pulley)...
Sup guys... Finally did my EFK using a SPAL 14" med size fan. Fit perfectly, as well as a SPAL_PWM fan controller. Just gotta hookup the A/C fan to it soon.
As for the belt, I have an Unorthodox underdrive pulley, so it took some calculations, but now I know a GATES K050460 belt works perfectly.

Just thought I'd share.

Sorry, i'll clarify.... the oem A/C fan will be run by SPAL controller...
I hooked up the EFK to a SPAL digital controller. You can program when to have it start (low speed, high speed) and also have it kick in full when A/C is on. It is capable of running 2 fans, so I am planning on hooking up the OEM A/C fan to the SPAL controller.
You guys are right, the A/C fan hardly turns on, and I dont trust it (especially for track)
Anyway, I posted for mainly for the belt size info (for underdrive pulley). I've been planning on deleting the fan pulley for a long time, but finally got my off my lazy a$$ and did it. I had the SPP EFK yrs ago, and didn't like it, so went back to oem belt fan for a while. Now I'm finally EFK.. my way =)

P/N : SPAL_AWM (Spal Fan controller)
it is very easy to hookup. It's about the size of 2 Palm pilot stacked. The connector for the fan is plug and play w/ most aftermarket electric fans, and there is a second wire to trigger another relay for the 2nd fan (oem A/C fan). Casing is waterproof and can be mounted in the engine bay. If you hook up to oem temp sender, you can program when the hi/low speed fan turns on, and also when the A/C (or just a switch)activates, it will go to full speed. It has LED indicators to let you know the status. Average price seems to be around $60-70.
If you have a turbo timer, make sure the Spal Fan controller's Ig(+) input wire is hooked up to the wire that stays on while the timer is counting down.
I mounted the fan controller right over the driver's side shock tower. It fits nicely under the ABS hard lines(?).
