Hey!
Hey Steve,
Beautiful ride. I just went through the European Car 1.8T challenge website and I saw your car plastered on the front page! =)
Would you have any more information regarding the event? I e-mailed their contacts regarding expenses. I live in Vancouver, B.C. (CANADA) and NJ is so damn far away. It'll be costly to get the car there. Would you know what expenses they'll cover???

I only know what the site says
I am in Chicago and it is not a short trip either. I am not counting on anything but I thought it would be cool to enter. Never thinking that I would be the car of the week

suspension question,...
Hey Steve,
I just went through your pictures and noticed that you take the A4 on the race track. I haven't ever taken my A4 on the track and I don't intend to. My H&R coilovers are toast after surviving 5 years, 3 different A4's and one total loss accident and I need some recommendations. And who better than someone who really tests it out?
My preferences are for handling at any expense to comfort. =) Thanks!

well if cost is no object

as well as comfort, Stasis can make them as stiff as you want. We are talking 1000lb springs and the custom konis to go with them. Since I drive my car everday and everywhere, I have our "MotoPersona" coilovers with 500f 625r spring rates. This is an awesome setup and as you can see there is virtually no body roll. But still driveable on Chicago streets. Pricing is $1,500 for the "MP" coils and stasis would be closer to $3,000. I take my car to the track all summer and I just love the balance and many passengers have to agree taking turns WAY faster then you would think.

agree fully.... having ridden in the MP kit...
it is great... I would go for stasis if you want handling over all others.... while I would get the MP kit if I were redoing it, it would be a bit too much for my daily chicago life.... ;-) i would still do it though... heehee
