Could this cause any warping or something if the turbo/engine was hot if it was raining/snowing???

looks like a terrible idea to me
lets have water drain down my hood and into my engine bay. Gee that wont cause corrosion, electrical problems or encourage animals to live in my engine bay... or make my engine bay even more filthy that much quicker.

hey for a race car with willing mechanics to worry about that whatever fits/works goes.
but if I'm the ******* that has to worry about the **** in the engine bay I dont think so.
