Default Exhaust tip question?
Will tips from a 1.8t's stock exhaust system fit on a stock 2.8's exhaust system? Are the tip sizes different?

Default Someones gotta know.....
a friend wants to buy tips off my car which is a 1.8 and I just need to know if they will fit his 2.8

Default Just the tips? I'd assume they'd fit for sure...
but I'm not totally positive...anyone else know for sure?

Default well, let me tell you this, i have 2.8 tips on my 1.8
they dindt fit very well, so i had to get bigger bolts/screws, and they dont fit tightly around exhuast tail, kinda like (o) that, if you can imagine it going all the way around.

Default well i gave the tips to my friend.......
and he said the 1.8t tips wont go on his 2.8. Im tryin to figure out if he isnt pushing hard enough or if they really dont fit.

they most likely wont fit, as the 2.8 tips on my car are a lot bigger than my stock tips

I always thought the rear muffler/stock tips for the 2.8 and 1.8 were the same

ZAW-806-004 1.8
ZAW-806-005 2.8
