Default Finally got an S4 wheel liner... What exactly are you suppose to cut?

Me and my buddy took a road trip on Sunday to pick up some wheels for his car. As I pull into my parking lot after work yesterday, I see his car there. Long story short, he surprised me with the S4 wheel liner, kind of a thank you gift for driving. Great friend to have around... =)

Anyways, I've seen an install for this before. I remember the guy mentioning having to do some custom work to get it to fit right. Can someone tell me exactly what they did? I eyeballed it yesterday and it looks to me like everything lines up...

Default The rear back edge (opposite the vent) is intended for S4 lower trim...

There is an FAQ... Basicly you cut it and your old one in half and mend the front of the s4 to the back of your original. The FAQ melts them together, I used duct tape on the back to hold it them once it was in place siliconed it. Email me in you have anymore questions. Another thing do both sides...

Default install it and you'll see the lower rear end part is not the same. cut that part from your OEMs and

install behind the new lining (front tip of running board)

NO need to cut...difference is BARELY noticeable, and only upon close inspection.
