i dont know of any patents on the rear one, so i could still make those, and i'm also talking Rennteck about a possible group buy on theirs. i will let you all know at a later date

where'd you hear about the patents? What about prior art? I've seen a homemade camera mount on AW
that seems to pre-date the SPP one (as far as I know). don't know if that's the one that raised an issue about patents

i received a nice little email from Rennteck about it.
it would still not be the same product. it would just mount and the seat, and hold your camera. other companies sell similar products. we'll see. i'm still going to build my own this weekend and let you guys know whats up. i agree that it total bs, but whatever.

one goes in the rear seat (check my pic poster) and yes, you can see
who's in the car and the road ahead of you. the other would mount on the front seat and show just the road ahead of you.
