FYI for those getting their lower trim painted...
I just dropped off my car to have some minor bodywork done. While my car is there, I'm having the shop paint the S4 lower trim I bought. I asked if there would be any issues w/ the paint adhering to the stock (black plastic) front lip b/c the guy who did the estimate said there might be. This guy said it shouldn't be too much of an problem. He said they would use a product called "Bulldog" that would make the paint stick.
Unfortunately, I didn't ask what the product was or what it did. But if you are planning on painting your stock A4 lowers, you might want to ask the shop about using Bulldog. I'll keep you all posted on how the finished trim looks.
Anyone hear of this Bulldog product before?

Coast Autobody in San Carlos is doing the work.
The estimate guy I spoke to told me about his son who was about to buy an S4. He was very curious about my car. Nice guy b/t/w.
Thanks for the offer on the Jewel tics. Things came up & I just cant make it.

They look like they do good work.
Their shop was pretty big & I looked @ some cars out front that they had just finished & they looked perfect. I'm not worried. At least not yet.

hey Norm...
Hope everything turns out well. I don't know what they used on my car for adhesion, but it's holding up pretty well. If you want to check it out sometime, lemme know.
