I got my car mid-sep. and have yet to recieve my 1st payment bill. A week and a half ago I called AoA to see if they had the correct address, I didn't want to have late payments tagged on if the address somehow got screwed up. I gave the Audi my name and he said the dealer hasn't turned in the paper work yet, so the car was not officially finianced yet. I called my dealer and asked them what was taking so long... they said they'd get back to me but never did. I'm going to follow-up on this tonight. Is this normal? Do dealers take this long to send the paper work in? I have almost 4K miles on it now and I'm leasing (18,000 miles a year)... is this going to effect my lease? Since financing hasn't started yet, does that mean I'll have the car longer than 39months (the term for the lease)? If so, I already have all these miles on it.

Maybe I'm worrying over nothing?

I took delivery on 9/31 and had received a ton of material, including my first payment coupon, just a few weeks later. AoA/VW seems to be processing pretty quickly, so the hold up must be with your dealer. I'd say that as long as your paperwork is dated properly, you should be fine (unless you keep burning up the miles).

Took my dealer 2 months to clear up their mistakes on paperwork (wrong forms, etc.)

Got No Reply from Dealer when I asked about it

I leased my A4 @ 1st of Oct. I've had no word from AudiFinance either.

May be a common problem...I took delivery of a used 2.8QM over 45 days ago, financed thru the dealer, to date no payment due although I did return once to resign screwed up paperwork. I don't care if they never get it right.
