I've had my car 3 1/2 years and the washers wouldn't work due to a bad pump when I bought it. After about 9 months I replaced the pump ,but the washers would only pop up briefly and go back down ,never spraying enough . This behavior went on for about 6 months ,then nothing again,so I gave up. Today I was driving home from my brother-in-laws house and it was just getting dark . We had been doing some door framing and I had sawdust on the windshield from being near the work area. I went to clean the windshield and WHATS THIS ****WATER COMING FROM THE GRILLE AREA***. Don't know whats up ,but I do know that I haven't used washers with lamps on since I replaced the battery . Did something reset when the battery died ? I would have to look but isn't there a module that governs the wipers and also the pump functions ? This is bizarre ,but whatever happened I'm glad to have working /non-leaking headlamp washers.
