HELP - Climate Codes CHANGED

All, I have a 98.5 1.8T and the FAQ about the climate control is all different for my car... For example, it goes up to 76 not 61 and some match and some dont. I've been fighting a problem when the temp sensor in the dash, will change by 30 degrees usually lower and the AC will kick off and the heat turn on. The dealer has been trying to chase the problem as well, but they haven't got it yet. I figured I'd try to be smarter than them and see what happened.I do have a diagnostic code of 4.3 Which could be related if the codes are the same as it says a intake air temp sensor flakey( there a techy term, I can't remember it). But only about 50% of the other code match so I don't know if the diag codes match.Does anyone have a current description? Or does anyone have that section of the service manual that could scan and email to me.Thanks, Alan

More on the codes

All,For example, #61 is suppose to be the software version number. Well if it is, it changes. I've also noticed that some of the numbers above say 65 can be changed with the fan speed buttons.I have no idea what they do, but I figured I'd fill you in.Alan

My codes also do not match.

I emailed the author or the FAQ and he told me they were for a 97. He had no idea if the codes had changed or what the new ones were. Stu Koch 99 2,8 qts
