Default P1296 won't go away :(

Not too long ago my CEL came on, and it was for P1296. I got the new green top sensor, put it in within 5 minutes...cleared the codes, all is well for about 2 weeks...it got cold today and the code and the CEL is back...Why won't it go away?? is the temp outside related? help peas!

use the HVAC control to monitor temps. Sumptin' else be wrong.

I understand how to monitor. But how do I find error codes within HVAC?

T-stat? PPL are telling me that might help if the sensor doesnt.. idk tho sorry

I thought T-stat, but the gauge shows no overheating/cooling...

You can't get error codes from HVAC readout. For that you need a Vag-com or ProDiag.

Thats what I thought - but whats with all the error codes on wak-tt?
