Was under the hood today and noticed the coolant level is about 0.25-0.5 inches below the min mark. This is with the engine cold as the car had been sitting in the garage the whole day.

There are no visible leaks or puddles underneath the car. Im scheduled to have the car serviced on thursday....so im definitely gonna have them look at it.

If i do have a leak, this will be the first time my car's been in for warranty work. Im a little concerned that they might make some bogus connection between my chip/exhaust and this leak.
Is there ne way a coolant leak could somehow be attributed to a chip or exhaust? Just want to be prepared should they try to screw me!

chances are it pretty straight forward, U might just be low, that's it. The tricky part about it is your chip, but there should be reason 4 them to run a check 4 a leak of that sort. A few words of advise, become friends w/ your Service Rep. always go t o the same guy, maybe grease his hand a little if goes out of his way 4 U. My guy found out my car was chipped, but kept it to himself, & he ended up w/ $40 bucks.Scratch his back & he'll do the same!!
