HELP GAS GAUGE!!!

Settle down, what is the crisis of that? My last car didn't have a working fuel gauge, so you know what I did? I gauged my tank by how many miles I've driven. So I filled up every 250-300 miles. Never had an issue.
You need to do an output test of the cluster with VAG-COM to check and see if it's the cluster itself or the sender in the gas tank.

Happened to me too. Turned out that the fuel gauge sending unit was the cause. "It is a common problem for a wire to become frayed or broken and interfere with the proper operation of the float bar on the fuel gauge sending unit." I followed this article and fixed it myself. https://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec.html

You have a short somewhere. My Speed sensor was screwed up and intern would turn my gas gauge into a boost gauge. It would increase (towards full) with more throttle and decrease to empty when I let off on the throttle. Seemed to only happen when my speedo was acting up.
