U sure its the door? I thought I had a rattle there also but it ended up being the glovebox door.

Default A4 rattles all over the place!
I've used goop and silicone sealant. They silenced most of the rattles/squeak. I will be experimenting with expanding foam next week.

I have the same problem... I'm thinking of removing the panel and seeing what's in there.
