Hi all, What does the "speed warning" in the dash denote? Manual is unhelpful, it came on at 35mph!

Some area roads have speed transmitters that X-mit the speed limit....
When the vehicle picks up this transmission and checks it with the vehicle speed, if the speed is over the limit by 1 or more mph, "Speed Warning" is displayed on the dash. If you continue to exceed the transmitted speed, your throttle will automatically kick in to bring you down into regulation.

Oh yeah, also if you are detected as using "Speed" the illicit narcotic, it will also show tihs warning and pull you over to the nearest "safe" area, shut off your car, and arrest your a$$.

When I picked up my '00 A4, the salesman set the speed warning at like 10 and 15mph as a joke....
couldn't get out the owner's manual since it was in the trunk with the floormats.....boy was that an annoying ride home in traffic with Speed Warning 1 & 2 going off all the time.
