I have Garrett chips, Blitz cone intake. I cleaned the sensor in the intake pipe, but no use. Any one has encountered similiar problem before?
Thanks.

Seems to be a pattern on this board..
It seems that most (but not all ) of the intermittant MIL light events are happening on chipped cars. If you put the factory chip in and the problem goes away....bingo.
To begin the troubleshooting you need to read the trouble codes. Find a chip friendly shop with a VAG scanner and get them to diagnose it.

Is your gas cap on and tight? SOunds stupid, but many times...
...the light has been caused by a gas cap that was left behind at the gas station.<p><img SRC="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/A4xtsg5.jpg" BORDER=0></a>
