the <A HREF="http://where_you_want_to_link_to" target="source"> and </A> is only if you want to make the image a link. the target="source" is also optional, as it opens the link in a new window.
The <IMG SRC="http://your_image_location"> is all you need for the image to display. the image must be accessible on the internet, so you have to upload it somewhere first.
