Default I like the old all-red much better... classic audi sporty look... I'm glad they kept it that way...

...for the S4, except the light-saber needles of course.

I wish they had kept the red, but at least they didn't go with VW blue!

Default I wonder if a '99.5 cluster will work in a 2000. I HATE the white, and it's not on all the time.

I pull into the garage at work, and I can't see athing on the dials. The all red was always on, and the dim red glow was very legible.

Maybe an S4 cluster in an A4?

I had a Toyota Camry loaner the other day, which I hated. But it did have one nice feature, the instrument cluster and other controls came on automatically when the interior of the car got dark-- dusk or in a tunnel etc. Nice. The instuments were the usual green, however.

Default So your instrument cluster is completely dark in your garage or just the white parts?

Definitely like the red always on... in parking garages, tunnels, and such. I wonder if the S4's all-red guages stay on all the time too? I should ask this question at the S4 forum.

Default All off, from what I can recollect. Believe it or not,I've had my new '00 for 3 months and..

I've yet to drive at night with it! Only time I had the lights on was in a rainstorm.

We have been using the Odessey for nights out. Wife is fed up with walking across g-d's creation to go somewhere after I've parked at the farthest possible point.

Default uuhh! Had a Jetta loaner, and I wanted to puke when I turned the lights on. It made me dizzy.

Now I'm curious, do the instrument lights stay on all the time with the 2000/2001 A4s?
