how does humidity play a part in engine (turbo?) performance? or does it?

Default yes, moisture displaces o2, not to mention, liquid doesn't compress as well as gases so it takes up

more volume, so you lose performance with high humidity.

my old Stage III A4 loved the San Francisco fog, heat has more to killing power.

Default the cool air compensated for increased moisture, however if your car is prone to pinging, moisture

can be good =)

Default how? you would put a de-humidifier in the intake tract? takes too long to work, only other method

would be to heat the air to remove the moisture which is bad too

Default Heat is ok if the air is dry.

Best weather conditions for a turbo are dry cool air which seems very hard to find.

I find my car sluggish in humidity, but just fine in dry heat.
