Default you can get the adaptor that turns a regular jack into a tranny jack

not sure how much they cost. i think 400 is about the min to have a clutch installed. if you do diy, make sure you have somebody thats done it before, and plenty of time. its like a full weekend job

Default CHIPSTAR!

Ok, that should have got your attention.
obviously you know what you are talking about with the transmission, me on the other hand does not.
Ok I have some questions, first, I have a 2001 2.8 5 speed, my kid brother sckrewed up my tranny by putting it from fourth to first, and now first dont work.
I took it to aamco, and they said it needed to be adjusted, and that will cost 425 dollars, but I found a 1.8 tranny for 150, with a 6 month warrenty, I was wondering if I do get it, it will be a direct fit, will the driving be the same, is this legal, and please tell me what you would do if you was me.
Thanks
Also, IS CHIPSTAR AND CHIPSTAR-BUY MY CAR THE SAME PERSON, CUZ THATS KINDA CONFUSING.
THANKS
