How much time you need to install 1-piece projectors to '97 A4,how much will take the cutting with(m

It took me about 3 hours taking my time.
It's very easy just don't be tempted to rush things and all will be good. Wiring is easy too, just make sure you order the new style plugs for the projectors.

Take your time...certainly not something to rush, especially if
you don't have a great deal of practice w/ the dremel. Make sure you have ample cut off wheels and mask off the fenders w/ tape to protect finish. Take a look at 99.5+ fenders w/ lights removed to get an idea of how much metal to cut out. Not taking enough will result in a poor fit, getting into the lip edge may compromise gasket seal. Finish the cut w/ a grinding wheel to remove rough edges, as well as a couple of coats touch up once complete.
Also make sure you have good stripper and crimpers to do the wiring harness. I mod'ed the new harness to allow using existing fog wire for switching the city lights.

Lighting upgrade without cutting sheet metal?
Alright...I'm new here (traded a AWD DSM turbo for a 97 1.8t recently), but I've been searching forums and vendor sites to no avail. Does any "Euro" lighting solutions exist that doesn't require cutting sheet metal? The reason I ask is that I believe one of the truely nice things about Audis is the use of double galvanized sheet metal. I know a few coats of touch up may not cause any problems, but don't want to risk it. Am I being too ****?
PS - Don't have a flashy pic of the car for my sig yet, but I'm working on it...
