i used a soldering iron to melt all the various cracks on my undertray back together. I also replaced all the clips that were broken and the screws that were missing. while i was under the car, re-installing it, i noticed the hose going from the secondary air pump to the air box was off. great. also i vag'd the ecu and discovered i have a blown maf. i wonder why. arrg.

i managed to shatter a 17mm deep socket while removing my summer wheels. craftsman warranty here i come!
