They've been telling me that a Tip exhaust is in the works for the last 3 years...
IOW... They will say what they think you want to hear.
APR is a great company and I love their chip. I'm just glad that I did not hold my breath for the exhaust....

I know for a FACT that some APR cars ping, my friend in Pheonix, AZ has pinging bad...
so much so he just runs his stock ECU. He is very lazy, i keep telling him to send it to APR to have them send him something that will handle heat better.

Pinging and Detonation are the same thing..They both are the result
of the fuel mixture burning prior to the spark plug firing. The "loudness" is a function of load and severity of detonation. Louder is more likely to punch hole in piston, but any is bad.

He is new, he's been there about 2 weeks I believe.
He's a real nice guy, and quite knowledgable about cars and such, but he's still getting a feel for the products and the issues involved in the Audi community. He'll be a master soon enough, i'm sure!
