not to much, but he just tapped in right behind the radio because..
even the the audi wiring asked to put the box in the trunk all the wires lead right to the back of the radio so its not really hard to install yourself.

where does the cradle sit?
and, I'm a little confused about how they wired the mike...so you still use an external mike? Or did they just stick a new one next to the one in the headliner?

what's your take after hearing this.. still no e-mail from you :)
Aside frm him tapping in behind the radio as it could be done through the DB25 port obviously, how do you view the kit now? It sounds like it does everything but using the factory mics and having auto answer?

it is powered thru the radio, its just four wires. and...
you can mount the cradle anywhere you want, your preference. he just ran the mic from the kit up to the headliner and replaced the Audi one with the nokia one. he popped open the case on the mic and put the nokia one in.

you are correct uses everything but the factory mic, but its not at all that bad to use and run the
wire. it is very simple. as to the auto answer im not sure as to how to do that maybe i need to turn that on in my phone. if you know how i will go do it.
