Default I just went to start the car. A split second after it started to crank, click -

and the car is dead. No lights, no dash, etc.

We get out of the car and go to another. I forgot to lock the door, so I went back and locked via the drivers side key hole. The alarm horn tooted and I got the LED in the drivers window.

I opened the car via the remote, got in, and again - click! nada. The second time, I could not get the car "back to life".

Its dark out now, but where should I start tomorrow morning?

Default yeah... chance of battery = slim.. if it was trying to start then you heard a click

and everything died.. i'm betting you just blew one main fuse.. or a bunch of little ones.. start checking

Happened to me when battery terminals weren't tight enough.

Default well - it is not unheard of for them to go bad.

- or as stated above - terminals, a short some where that drains it.

Batt terminals and/or secondary connectors. Clean them.
