I was looking at APRs boost gauge install... *edit*
...and I was wondering how long the whole process really takes. Their instructions make it sound way too easy. Also, I don't believe I have plugs in the firewall to route through. I searched the tech articles and the forum of course, so Nate, don't freak out. I know alot of you have installed boost gauges and just wanted to know your general opinion on the complexity of the install. I'm going to be flashing this thing soon and I know I should get a gauge installed ASAP. Oh, and another opinion request: Which gauge/pod setup would be the most simple and least expensive (but not cheesy or rice-tastic). I just saw that Garrett gauge, but I don't own a Dremel and I don't think I'd trust myself with it anyway. Great price on the gauge, though. Thanks, guys.

I have the APR installed for almost a year...
Still works. It's gotten a little buzzy in the last month and I have not changed the Tee that some guys use here to eliminate it. The install did not go quickly as the instructions state but I took my time. The wiring and making the hose connection good was the part that took the time.

Did the hardware include good clamps? Since you mentioned making a good seal...
I was actually wondering that myself. The picture of the line and hardware isn't all that great. TY for the reply, BTW.

It includes the pinch clamps. They give you more than enough hose..
The loss of the extra vent has not been an issue either. It's a great diag tool because I was having over boost problems. It might go on sale this month for Christmas.
