If i go with the APR chip, can i still add on the GIAC tip chip?

Default If i go with the APR chip, can i still add on the GIAC tip chip?

The APR dealer is located in my city of Irvine. So thats the reason i want to go with them.

Default You should be able to desolder the APR chip and resolder another

so basically you would be starting from scratch each time. No savings, they are not compatiable as far as I know.

Default you really shouldnt type anything you dont know about....

they are 2 seperate ECUs..... so why wouldnt you be able to?

hey dude, them be two separate chips for two separate purposes, stick to the manual

Default Whoops, i did not see the tip chip part, I thought he was asking if both the

APR and GIAC were socketed and you could switch them out. My bad.

Default I have an APR chip and GIAC tip chip.

I was warned that there may be incompatabilities, but I haven't had any problems. I check with the VAG tool frequently.
