Default I'm looking to buy another key fob off ebay, and I'm wondering

if the newer style keys (with 3 buttons) will work for my 99.5 (that has only 2 buttons currently) or if I need an exact match. has anybody ever purchased a key off ebay?

Default i was told NO back in the day when i was hunting for one

so i dont think so. of course im pretty sure that nobody tried to program a 3 button on on a 2 button car.

i did spend 25$ for the remote with a cut key and then 19$ or so for a blank.

Default connections at the dealer = free

a good local locksmith will be able to cut them.

Default even without a connection at the dealer it shouldnt be more than 10$ to cut at a locksmith

if you have none start surfing your local boards, knowing people, going to meetings and drives and all the stuff will come to you.

i have saved a ton of $$$ by getting items through other people on my local board. it also turned out that my local board has people that work everywhere.
