Immobiliser problem

Immobiliser problem
Mycarstart, then stops...the immobiliser light flashes. If I take the key out and turn it 180 degrees, it still won't start. This can happen 5 times or more. If I change the key, the car starts OK and then if you go back to the original key it will start OK again :-(...anyone have any ideas.... ?..... HELP !!!

Yep I have the same problem, my 97 A4 1.8 runs fine for a while, then all of a sudden it takes many attempts to turn the key without the immobiliser continually flashing.
Did you get any further ?
