Intake, third attempt.

Well, many of you guys have seen my first two attempts at an intake. I have attached a link for those not familiar.
My first attempt worked great but I was very near the manifold so heat was a problem.
My second attempt looked great, but I later determined that performance was seriously affected. My boost PSI dropped from 23 to just over 15.
I could not find a bend, so I created one with the help of my mechanic. The inside of the bend is perfectly smooth, although the exterior needs some finishing and painting. I have also incorporated a basic heatshield that will be enhanced in due course.
The performance of this setup is just great. The engine gets more than enough air, and my PSI is back at 23-24. The intake also heats up very little even with my simple heatshield. Once it is complete it will be even better.

It looked pretty good when I saw it this morning...
Didn't get to go for that ride that you promised me... We ended up going for a little drive afterwards too... too bad you didn't stick around...
I think the intake will work perfectly for ya once you get that heatshielding all sorted out...
