Just noticed brass colored chips in my oil after a change. Should I worry?
They were about the size of ink dot from a ballpoint pen on a piece of paper. Should I be worried.
98 1.8TQ with 73,000 miles.

Hiya,
First oil change, could be normal leftover residue from manufacture.
If your car has miles on it, I would seriously pull each of the spark plugs and make sure everything is OK in the cylinders.
Brass colored? That usually indicates small fragments of the clutch (impossible in the engine oil) or fragments from a bearing (water pump?) If this came from the turbo, it would already be dead.
If your car is still under warranty, take it to the dealer and have them worry about it.
