So far I have found a video on how to take out the engine on a similar vehicle set up on the Audi A4 (which is the VW Passat). I could post it up here if you guys want to see it so that you could take out your engines and work on the wiring harness. I would show you guys how to do it but I can't because my dad won't let me touch a newer vehicle like that and he doesn't have the experience as well.

Any who, the dealership wanted to replace all of the wiring harness because it was too brittl but in reality it is just one part of the while set up that is brittle not the whole thing so we decided to wait and have someone look at it to go with them as the cheaper alternative.
