In a few words (meaning that searching is an effort ;-0), what is the performance benefit with this?

Default better low-end torque and a general smoothing out of the low-rpm "flat spot"......

a noticable and satisfying improvement.

Not a huge difference, but definitely worth it.

Default exhaust helps too.....2.8 mods are modest.....but combined, they make a substantial difference.....

my car with the chip, intake, and exhaust combined has made my car significantly faster. This has also been verified by other stock 2.8 drivers who have driven my car.
