Milltek exhaust Q - noisewise if the apr is a 4, the milltek is a 5, what is a supersprint?
The jan issue of eurotuner had a dyno chart for the supersprint system on a jetta - with gains of approx 13hp and 24lb/ft. Pretty nice considering its a non-catback... and I want something thats QUIET!!!!

Briefly at PES - on a pasaat, I like the tone of the Milltek... but HATE even mildly loud exhausts
... no matter how loud they remind of coffee cans on civcs...
Is there any way to get the power without the noise? (or at least less noise?)

If the dp's diameter is matched to the slip joint section of
the supersprint (assuming it doesn't taper down anymore) you'd have the potential to flow more air. It'll be a tad louder - probably a '3.5'
APR still would get the '4' due to the deeper engine braking tone, imho.
I personally think it's not worth the $ getting a dp made unless you want to maximize airflow for big power/custom job/experiment. It'll make more sense to go with a full exasut.
In simple terms: yes, theoretically it'll get a bit louder although it also depends on how the muffler has been fabricated. My (cheapo) borla gets very LOUD (for a 4cyl turbo) when the turbo gets hot but hey, it's ss piping (little R&D) at the most!

Scorpion BABY!!!!
i have a scorpion 2.75" quiet with nice power boost! but it does not come with a down pipe which is not a problem because some aftermarket ones are currently in teh works....
