Milltek louder in RH Seat versus LH Seat
I let the woman drive today, and I swear the Milltek Flex Back is much louder in the right hand front seat, versus the left hand front seat.
Anyone think the same ?

I think its because your not driving, you listen more....
i know what your saying, i rode in a APR exhaust car and it sounded much louder when listening than when driving...but it think its because we pay more attention to driving when behind the wheel.

Nope.
Both of us reakon its the case. It not just in my head. I'm woundering if the noise and resonance I hear could be being created by something other than the output from the rear exhaust. ?? ie Either vibration, or some other source other that from the rear exhaust output.

I have the same thing with my MTM exhaust.
Any input to my previous post?<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/1407209.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/1407209.phtml</a</li></ul>

well, here we go >
The 210hp ant a bad start. However, its gets very expensive to do more. To do further, you could stick with MTM, but a 286hp would cost you NZ$15K+, and that ant worth it. Or you could go generic, and follow Lucus in Aus, and use a GIAC chip and a garrett GT25 or hybrid.
You never know your luck, and you could also search the wreckers for any crashed 286hp, and nick the K27 turbo, ECU, carbon box, injectors, etc.
However, there are plenty of minor mods to do. Boost Guage, TT BPV, Wheels, suspension, etc.
I'm still tossing up if I'll spend the big money or simply buy a M3 or S4. TBA.
The problem I have, is that my car is a 2001 LeMans, with a Stage I 187hp MTM from new. However, MTM dont do a stage II chip for my ECU. So even though I have the Flex Back Exhaust, I'm not getting the full 210hp.
I've got to go now, but maybe we'll touch base later.
later.

Re: WTF, I thought I was the only kiwi here !
I'm in Milford.
Thanks for your thoughts. I'm pretty happy with the current MTM chip, looking more for cosmetic upgrades (new grille at the moment). Have you imported anything direct?
