My Audi A4 2.8 Quattro is vibrating... Someone help?
The car slightly vibrates when I turn the steering wheel all the way to the right or left and press the gas pedal.. It doesn't vibrate when going straight, only when I make small sharp turns.
My friend who has an A6 says that his does it too and that it's the All Wheel Drive that's causing that.. He said that if it didn't vibrate, something would be wrong.
Is it supposed to vibrate slightly like that? Email me at izl@midsouth.rr.com please
thanks

It does vibrate....
Under 45 mph the anti-lock brakes are applied to the wheel that has the faster rolling diameter to transfer torque to the other wheel. This is done due to the system translating the faster wheel to be slipping. Since they're monitoring wheel speed however, I don't know why they didn't just monitor steering angle as well, and then it would know that the wheel isn't slipping but simply taking a longer path of travel.
In short though, it does vibrate under 45 mph (I think that's the correct speed) in turns.
