I recommend Town Motors on Dean Street in Englewood, NJ, especially over Jack Daniels in Fair Lawn. Karolina was very pleasant to deal with and fair in pricing (approx 950 over invoice in April 97) and A4's were selling like crazy. Their service department has been excellent so far, too and it's open on Saturday until noon.

Beverly at Star Motors
I think dealer inventory is definitely the key here (as well as a little luck... read on). I stopped into Star Motors in Nanuet, NY, this past summer and found 25+ A4s in almost every possible configuration. The saleswoman (Beverly Fried) was very upfront and told me (before I even asked about prices) that she would add $1200 to her invoice cost for any car on the lot. I test drove a fully loaded (Sport, Bose w/cd changer, Cold-weather, Tiptronic, trip comp) A4Tq Sant Blue car - she quoted $28,600. I got home and checked Kelly BB and found this to be only $600 above invoice. Calls to competing dealers as well as three different internet-based buying services could not come close. Needless to say, I called to confirm my order the next day and did not even want to bargain for fear that her quote was an error and she'd back out before I had the deal in writing. I've had the car for 4 months and put 11,000 miles so far - it's great (and a steal for what I calculate as 2.14% over invoice). <br>Good luck
