Default New chipped ECU need help

got it today
put in it , turned key in on for 3-5 min then start
CEL light is on leave it run for around 5 min shut off still on

Help me

ps. does this sound rght for a neuspeed 1 bar
before chip 7psi spike down to 5psi
neuspeed 13psi spike down to 10psi

Boost about right. Did you recode ECU?

Default you shouldn't have gone cheap, my only advice

Me thinks tis better to have a local tuner who can trouble shoot than to save money and be SOL all alone.

Do both ECU part #'s match?

ECU codes matched perfect but mine is 97 his 99

Better get a vag by someone dont think the codes are the same.

Some have posted that the other ndbw ecu's did not work in their 97.

Default You ought to throttle adapt it using a vag. I had the same thing with an apr chip...

once I throttle adapted it with a vag, it was just fine. I believe that you adapt with block 98.
