Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself and my car. I live in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada and very recently got a 2000 A4 1.8TQMSX in Ebony Pearl Mica with Onyx cloth. Its got sport seats, CD changer, convenience, debadged save the rings, etc. Did a dealer swap for the 16" 5 spokes (personally don't like the appearance of the 10 spokes). I have ordered H&R coilovers from a shop in the Vancouver area and am keenly awaiting the install. I will be tinting next week, no darker than 35%. Anyone tint all round with 50%? I am concerned that 50% tint all round might not be significant enough but that 35% could be slightly too dark... I will enter it in the registry after completing the suspension, tint and have a photo. I also plan to chip and due the lukewarm response from a couple of the local dealers, feel I need to buy the spare ECU for peace of mind but am not happy about the increased cost vs. chip alone.

Hey, a fellow Victorian!

Used to be Victorian...
now in Toronto. Would be nice to have the car in Victoria, where there is a little less bumper-bumper traffic. Keep us apprised of the mods!

Hey im from vancouver.. just wanted to know where you got your A4 and how much, how long it took, etc..... im looking to get an A4 within the year... reply if you can thanks. =)

got the car from Audi of Richmond for C$39,500 plus taxes etc. They had it in stock, one of two left in BC with sport seats in the 1.8T with manual. Speedway Volkswagen in Victoria has a Brilliant Black with sport seats, but not Bose nor Xenon - they will sell it for C$37,500.
