Default noise, doesn't sound good.

Recently my car has been making this noise:

(will play in browser if you have Quicktime installed)

It's really prominent when i start the car in the morning and pull out of the garage. once the car is warmed up, i won't hear it until im going slower (lower RPMs and first gear).

I was hoping this sound would be unique enough to determine the issue. if not maybe throw a few ideas my way?

Thanks!<ul><li><a href="http://www.tricksession.com/temp/memo.aiff">http://www.tricksession.com/temp/memo.aiff</a</li></ul>

Default I had a spacer between trans and engine fail with similar noise.

This was years ago and the dealer replaced it. I'm not sure what part name was but I do remember that sound.

Default I've noticed it's only when the clutch is half way (while shifting or reversing or while in first )

could it be that my clutch is going bad? does it make any sense that once the car has been running for 5 min. the noise goes away?
