Oil light blinked for 30 seconds :(

Oil light blinked for 30 seconds :(
What does this mean? I don't have a manual, and last I checked oil level was where it was suppose to be. I had driven for and hour @ about 4k rpm and was just coming of my exit on a bank and it did it. Took it right home and parked. Its pooring rain so I'll check the oil in the morning. IS the blinking just a warning?

your probibly low on oil. you uncover the sensor with cornering G's.
my water level is doing this to me right now, in left hand turns, going to get distilled water saterday.
