Ok, can anyone contact A4by4 (T. Jack)?? I think I have been scammed
Sorry to say, but one of our AudiWorld'ers may be trying to troll me. On 8/8/02 responded to Travis Jack's for sale post in the S4 board. I called him at the phone number listed and spoke with in for about 20 minutes. I asked him some questions about the Euro's he was selling, we negotiated a price, and I sent him some paypal. He seemed legit and honest, and had had posted numberous times on the board.
He was supposed to send out the Euros the following Monday -- but did not. I emailed him a couple of times and he said he was having trouble getting replacement stock housings from another AW'er
However, he always assured me that he would send them out within the next few days. About 3 weeks ago Travis stopped returning my emails. Further, the phone number I had for him has been disconnected. Further still, he has not posted on AW for almost a month.
What worries me even more is that some people that have bought stuff from him have gotten items that are not as described.
If anyone has any information on him -- please let me know. Or at least get him a message to contact me. I have been trying to email him -- but he does not respond. I would really just like to get my money back and be done with the deal. PayPal did an investigation, and could not locate him, and it appears he has cleaned out his PayPal and bank account. So I may be SOL.
I really hope he comes through.
