OT: But If anyone knows anything about Veritas clustering on IBM Netfinity's
Here is a quick run down any imput would be great.
2 7000's (SQL database servers)
2 exp15 drive enclosures.
Trying to figure out if both 7000's are connected to both external drive enclosures will it need anything special for failover. I've been told inline scsi terninators are needed and a few other things. again anything would be great and sorry for the OT.

You will need fiber channel link between the 2 servers, then a dedicated ethernet link....
between the 2 servers preferrably gigabit. Then you want to use Veritas Cluster-X to manage the cluster.
I assume you are running win2000 advanced or NT4 enterprise?

That's why this forum is great!
Every now and then you get the Mine is better than your but hey! You can't beat this kind of service. I have problem getting answers out of Veritas and H/W vendors that fast!

No problem, I am a networking tech support rep. Storage is not MY game however...
We have a Veritas support group here, I just had to walk to another tech and ask. BTW we are a distributor (Ingram Micro) And do support for resellers that are customers of ours.
