OT: What should I get PS2? XBox? or Game Cube? FYI: X box has this game featuring a TT roadster

For my money...
Id get (and did get) the PS2. DVD player, and a STAGGERING selection of games, because you can play both PS1 and PS2 games on it. Also, some of my favorite titles are on the PS, like GT, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, Tenchu, Resident Evi, and Armored Core, in addition to some fantastic looking new titles, like Devil May Cry. I don't think XBox is worth the money, personally, even though the graphics are fantastic.

if you are into, ahem "questionable" activities..
Then you can "acquire" all the PS-2 games, and PS-1 games you want for free and play them on your PS-2.
You won't be able to do that with an X-Box unless you had a DVD burner to start or people start ripping games onto multiple CDs. But anything is possible I guess.
It may be possible with the GameCube since it's just a proprietary CD format (kind alike how Dreamcast is a GD-ROM but they hacked those).
Personally I'd wait till X-Box and GameCube come out because PS-2 price will probably drop, and X-Box/GC will drop after the new year, or at christmas. Don't pay the rediculous introductory prices no matter what.
