...but it looks like the prev owner was lying just to sell the car. Suckage.

what was the mileage...
we should start compiling statistics on the mileage at the time of tensioner failure and the model year of the car...

heh - nice sig... It is amazing how often these things fail
I have a friend in the auto recycling buisness - he said the 1.8T motors are crazy expensive and sell like hotcakes...
