I've done a search, but didn't come up with anything useful om this. I'm considering a 1.8T Avant, but there are two things I don't like about it. I was hoping that someone might have some worthwhile suggestions for me.

1. I don't car for the black front/rear valance and side skirts, nor the black roof rack. I would prefer them to be body color. Is the black material paintable? Can you get it from the factory painted body color

2. I think that the antenna ruins the roof line and would rather have the window antenna. In fact, when I visited a dealer yesterday, a bird was using it as a perch for a time. I understand that it is removable so that you can haul things on the roof, but I'd like some ideas to completely get rid of the antenna and having an alternative antenna. Can the car be ordered without it? If it's removed, is there a good way to plug the hole?

Default Re: painting

- u could go to a body shop and get the side skits painted

- i don't know if they'd fit but u could buy the 2.8's roof rack (chrome) and put it on ur car

good luck
