On pass side what bolts do i loosen or lower the lower sub frame for lower rear control..

Default On pass side what bolts do i loosen or lower the lower sub frame for lower rear control..

Thank you~~ i had to cut the bolt out with a hack saw..here is a pic to help thanks~~~

i looked in my bently no mention about the lower rear control arm...only the other arms..

Default The three bolts on the triangular plate...

to the left of the hand in the picture. Take the two smaller bolts (to the rear of the car) out first and then loosen the larger one to lower the subframe.

Default Hey, nice picture! :-) Loosen all 3 bolts you see on that little plate there..

The engine will lower a little, you will want a jack stand ready to support it.

Default i read your write up thanks for the photo.. did you have to lower your sub frame to get the bolt in?

i dont remember you mentioning it when i read your tech but that was over the weekend and alot has happened since then!.

I didn't on my 2.8 tip, but on a 1.8t I did, I had to lower the subframe a LOT to get the bolt out.

Default i have a 96 2.8qManual maybe that is the diff just curious was the 1.8 manual or auto? if you recal

Manual. I am not sure what the difference was.
