people with 2001 and e-codes
Where your turn signals 2 wires or 3 wires? My stock turn signals are 3 wires and the e-codes i got are 2 wires. Also my stock bulb was a wedge type and the e-codes is a light bulb type.. think 1157.. My questions is of the 3 wires in the stock turn signal which ones are power and which one is ground. thanks..

With just a little elbow grease you actually put your OEM turn signal in its place
Remove the turn signal that came with the E-code..and put the one from your stock in..just push and twist..and it goes right in..I had the same concern...good luck

like Wakeboarder said...
leave the e-code turn signal base out of it; you can reuse the ones already in the car. On the base there are two tabs that will perfectly match the keyholes in the back of the housing, and one tab that doesn't match. Put THAT tab in with the base at an angle, and turn it until other two tabs now match up with the holes. Then push the base in flat and turn it until it locks.

Cool .. follow the info on the link but dbl check the wire on the turn signal bundle for which is
the correct one before tapping. IIRC it was diff on mine than on Mark P's site. I'll go look at mine and report back<ul><li><a href="http://ctny.audiworld.com/mark/s4/euros/">http://ctny.audiworld.com/mark/s4/euros/</a</li></ul>

you'll need to cut that wire in half.
solder the cut ends into the blinker wire only (sorry I can't remember which wire of the three) and then push the ends with the clips into the wire harness that plugs into the back of the headlight housing. Sorry for the blurry pic but my camera won't focus in the dark. This is the driver side headlight housing plug, and the yellow wire is the city light wire.
