Picked up my new 2001 A4 1.8T on Friday...
Wow, we picked up our new car last Friday. What a great car to drive! It's my wife's car so I am having withdrawl today :-)
Details: 2001 A4 1.8T, Tip, Casa White, Opal Gray L'ette, Sport, Premuim, Xenons, Bose.

Xenon headlights on 2001 A4 1.8T?
Hmmmm. I just picked up my new 2001 A4 1.8T a couple weeks ago and I remember not having Xenon headlights as an option for the 2001 year when I pre-ordered my car four months ago.
When did you place the order for the car? And are the Xenon headlights aftermarket?

Back in March there was a lot of confusion on whether Xenons would be available on the 2001 1.8T's. Audi decided to offer them. Xenons are listed as an option on the price list...i chose them when i placed order in May. They are 'factory' not 'aftermarket'.

Sorry about that.
I called the dealership and they said it wasn't available as an option when I ordered it but I just found out that they added on later by Audi.
Damn. It was an option I REALLY wanted!
Perhaps they added some of the colors back as well (eg. jasper)?!
