Default Drive by wire. If i was smart, I would have noticed you give the year of your car...

in your signature. you'll have to unscrew the expansion tank, and move it off to the side to see the bleeder.

Default Well, in the end, it was a bad t-stat.....

I now have a flushed system with a new radiator, fan clutch, and thermostat. The final clue to the t-stat was probably the fact that I could get a reasonable drop in the coolant temp by turning the heater on full blast.

There was nothing obviously wrong with the old t-stat and everything looked very clean inside.
